Dear IRSDA Members and Associate Members,
After many successful years the attendance at the IRSDA's Annual Conference has been steadily dropping. In part due to the success of our member organizations and also the daily time challenges placed on the Boards and the Sewer District staffs. With that in mind we know it is important to stay informed and up-to date on legislative issues, policies, funding options, equipment and services. The IRSDA wants to continue bringing that info to all Regional Sewer Districts, therefore, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water to provide you with a very comprehensive conference experience.
We are arranging a full day track of classes for Regional Sewer Districts at the Alliance's upcoming Fall Conference in Fort Wayne on October 17th. In addition, this partnership will provide a better opportunity for operators and technicians to get the training to fulfill required continuing education units. The Alliance offers three tracks of classes at their conference covering, water, wastewater, & administrative topics.
The Alliance has agreed to offer IRSDA members that are not members of the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water the discounted member rate for this conference. Also, the Alliance has a special offer - when you become an Alliance member you will receive one free registration to one of their conferences.
This fall conference offers over 65 exhibitors in the exhibit hall, technical education session, and vast networking opportunities. Because we know you will find these beneficial to you as well, you may want to consider signing up for both days of the conference. Please find below the agendas for the Administrative/Regional Sewer District Sessions, the Technical Sessions and "What-to-Expect" letter.
